Strategic plan
SIS works in a world that is changing quickly. Families, education systems, and the wider community all have new and growing needs.
To respond to this, we regularly review our work and set clear goals for the future. Our Strategic Plan is updated every three years and explains where the school is going and how we plan to get there. The current Strategic Plan (2025–2028) focuses on the following key areas:
- Connecting for growth → Strengthening our position as the first-choice school for internationally mobile families, and growing SIS’s impact across Stockholm and beyond
- Creating dynamic spaces of learning → Transforming both our campuses into flexible, inspiring environments where curiosity, creativity, and discovery can flourish
- Unlocking potential → Building a seamless, connected IB journey from early years to diploma, supporting every student’s academic success at every stage
- Advancing AI, STEM, and innovation → Equipping students for the future with an integrated, forward-thinking approach to AI, STEM, and real-world problem-solving
- Empowering every learner → Ensuring every student feels supported, valued, and prepared -academically, emotionally, and socially – to thrive at SIS and beyond
- Cultivating talents → Investing in our exceptional staff through professional development, well-being, and a culture of collaboration and recognition
